Dear Stella – Ticket to Ride by Faye Guanipa – Recctangles in Lava

We just discovered this designer with “Ticket To Ride”. She says in her bio, “My artwork features color palettes and imagery that play on a cheerful vintage aesthetic with a modern twist. It is a reflection of my love of vintage textiles and style.” I do see a hint of vintage in her work, but I also appreciate her clean modern style. The stars and rectangles prints are fantastic graphic designs and we loved the Carousel and Scoops for their fussy cutting potential and cheek.

Note – this print is redder in the picture (left) than it is in person. It’s a little earthier, maybe more Rust, than Red.

Spark – This is a great collection for a playful kid’s quilt. Or, just to make your stash work really hard.
